I have made a decision at this point to experiment with the standard mark making and drawing techniques I already use within my work to explore the clays use as a slip before I move onto further 'core' construction methods and organic burnout experiments. Simply because the vessels are at a suitable drying point for me to try this and it could be another pathway forward. It also relates back to the surface designs employed by William Billingsley at Pinxton Pottery to some extent.
